Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of financial knowledge, financial attitude, and personality on financial management behavior among SMEs, particularly in the culinary sector of Tanah Laut Regency. The population includes 2,055 SMEs in Pelaihari District, with a sample size of 95 respondents. A quantitative approach is used in this research, with data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis involves descriptive statistics, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression to test the hypotheses. The findings indicate that (1) financial knowledge does not influence financial management behavior, (2) financial attitude does not affect financial management behavior, and (3) personality has an impact on financial management behavior. The R Square value of 0.294, or 29.4%, suggests that financial knowledge, financial attitude, and personality together account for 29.4% of the variation in financial management behavior, while the remaining 70.6% is influenced by factors outside the scope of this study.
